Please fill in a standing order form and take to your bank.
Did you know that you can leave this branch a donation as a legacy?. The RSPCA is a trust organisation so is able to act as an executor and administer your estate without charging a fee. The RSPCA’s legacy department has fully qualified staff that can also see to the welfare of any animals that may survive you. You can specify whether you want the National RSPCA or a local branch such as the RSPCA Scunthorpe-to benefit from your legacy. We are always extremely grateful to people who think of the RSPCA when they are making their wills. If you wish your bequest to be used for the value of local animals, it is essential that the wording used be unambiguous. YOU MUST QUOTE THE CHARITY NUMBER OTHERWISE THE LEGACY WILL NOT REACH THIS BRANCH. Our charity number is 234838
For a bequest to be made to the local branch, the following format should be used:
"I bequeath to the RSPCA North Lics & Humber Branch CHARITY NUMBER 234838 the sum of £*** free of all duties and taxes payable at my death and I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer for the time being of the said Branch shall be sufficient discharge to my trustees."
We are in the lucky position of having 2 charity shops. The one in the photograph is the smaller of the 2 and is situated at Springs Parade in Brigg by the River Ancholme
Although smaller in size it has proved to be very popular with the local residents and also attracts customers from the various nearby villages. Our first Charity shop is at 278a Ashby High St. Ashby, Scunthorpe and is also very popular receiving great interest from the public daily. It is thanks to the hard work of the volunteers who man these shops that the Branch is able to continue its vital animal welfare work.
All monies raised by their efforts goes directly into helping sick, injured and abused animals on a local level. If you think that you could spare an hour or so in helping at either of these shops you will be more than welcome. If you haven't the time but would still like to help we are always in need of good quality saleable goods, ranging from household items to bric-a-brac, to books etc. Our opening times are as follows.
Brigg Mon - Tues- Thurs- Fri- Sat 9.30am - 3.30pm tel. 01652/656305
Ashby Mon- Tues- Wed- Thurs- Fri 9.00am - 400pm tel 01724/842052
