Autumn Sponsorship - Moose and Whitney

Your Sponsorship transforms the lives of cats like Moose and dogs like Whitney. Thanks to you, we are helping animals find confidence again.

Your Sponsorship made Moose’s recovery possible

When Moose arrived at RSPCA Ashley Heath Animal Centre, previous abuse had left him unable to stand or walk, and with a newly amputated leg, it was not clear whether he would survive. Your Sponsorship funded his specialised rehabilitation, tailored to help him regain movement and walk at his own pace. Your support funded months of rehabilitation, from monitoring to muscle building. As he grew stronger, his cheeky personality emerged, and he'd zoom around looking for treats. Moose adapted brilliantly to life on three legs and thrives in his new home with owner Jenny.

To think Moose could barely stand when we met him! Seeing him later charging around confidently was amazing.

You helped Whitney trust again

Whitney arrived at RSPCA Ashley Heath terrified of human contact. Your Sponsorship funded her tailored rehabilitation, from getting used to a harness to gradual outdoor exposure, helping her grow at her own pace.

Thanks to you, Whitney had an environment where confidence could grow, including a sensory garden and a home-like room. The team used food trails to help Whitney explore. Day by day, she grew braver, investigating toys and approaching those making her meals.

After fifteen months, Whitney confidently walked into her new home with Eve, a transformation only possible due to your kindness.
